Service description
Pelvic Zone offers non-invasive pelvic-floor sessions using high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology. Sessions involve seated stimulation that triggers pelvic-floor muscle contractions. We provide lifestyle guidance and general education. We do not provide medical diagnosis or medical treatment. -
Eligibility and screening
• You must complete a health questionnaire and safety screening before your first session and update us if anything changes.
• Services are for adults (18+). Clients under 18 require written guardian consent and written approval from a GP/consultant.
• We may decline or postpone sessions if safety criteria are not met. -
Safety, contraindications, and cautions
Do not proceed without medical advice if any of the below apply. We may require written GP/consultant approval.
A. Absolute contraindications (no treatment):
• Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy.
• Implanted electronic devices (e.g., pacemaker/ICD, neurostimulator).
• Active pelvic infection, fever, or undiagnosed bleeding.
B. Relative contraindications (case-by-case with clinician input):
• Metallic implants in or near the pelvis/abdomen/lumbar region (e.g., hip replacement, pelvic fixation). Safety depends on device material, location, and your clinician’s advice.
• Recent surgery or childbirth (seek medical clearance; typical minimum 6–12 weeks, depending on procedure and recovery).
• Known or suspected malignancy, especially pelvic; require consultant guidance.
• Severe osteoporosis, uncontrolled cardiovascular disease, epilepsy, or significant continence/uro-gynaecological symptoms under investigation.
• Anticoagulation/bleeding disorders.
• Intrauterine devices or other implants: discuss with your clinician; manufacturer guidance and individual risk apply. -
What to expect and when to stop
During sessions you may feel strong, rhythmic muscle contractions and tingling. Tell your practitioner immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, heat, or anything unusual. You may stop at any time. Mild, short-lived muscle fatigue or soreness can occur. -
Scope of information (no medical advice)
Content we share (verbal, written, or online) is educational and does not replace personalised medical advice. Always consult your GP/consultant for diagnosis, medication changes, or decisions about your care. -
Results and programmes
Responses vary by individual factors (baseline function, consistency, health status). Session counts and schedules are guides, not guarantees of outcome. If we use progress measures (e.g., symptom scores), they are for coaching/monitoring only and not a medical diagnosis. -
Money-back/satisfaction guarantee (if applicable)
If advertised, the guarantee applies only as stated on our website/booking page. Typical conditions include: completing the agreed number of sessions within the recommended timeframe, attending reviews, and following basic guidance. Exclusions may apply (e.g., incomplete programmes, new or undisclosed medical issues). See the current guarantee terms on pelviczone.co.uk/terms. -
Bookings, cancellations, lateness
• Please arrive on time; sessions cannot overrun.
• Cancellations/reschedules require [24] hours’ notice or the session/fee may be forfeited.
• “No-shows” are charged in full.
• Packages are valid for [24] months from purchase; unused sessions expire and are non-transferable. -
Fees, refunds, and payments
• Fees are shown at booking and may change without notice for future purchases.
• Prepaid packages are discounted and non-refundable once started, except where required by law or under any stated guarantee.
• Refunds (where applicable) are returned to the original payment method. -
Client responsibilities
• Provide accurate, complete health information and inform us of changes.
• Follow safety guidance during and between sessions.
• Seek medical care promptly if symptoms worsen or new symptoms arise.
• You are responsible for discussing HIFEM and any implants or conditions with your GP/consultant. -
Data protection and privacy
We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Notice (see pelviczone.co.uk/privacy). Health information is used only for booking, safety screening, and delivering services. -
Complaints and feedback
We aim to resolve concerns quickly. Contact: [clinic email/phone]. If unresolved, we will share next steps in our complaints process. -
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where unlawful to do so. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Pelvic Zone is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. We maintain appropriate insurance for our services. -
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the latest version is posted on pelviczone.co.uk/terms. Continued use of our services confirms acceptance. -
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Venue: courts of England and Wales. -

Clinical Disclaimer (summary)
• Non-invasive HIFEM sessions are an adjunct to, not a replacement for, clinically indicated care.
• Not suitable for everyone; screening and, where relevant, GP/consultant input are required.
• Outcomes vary; no promise of cure or specific result is made.
• If you have an implanted device or metalwork (including hip replacement), treatment may only proceed on a documented, case-by-case basis with your clinician’s advice.
