The Pelvic Zone Method™
The Pelvic Zone Method is a structured approach to pelvic rehabilitation, guided by a Pelvic Health Practitioner and delivered using specialist chair-based rPMS technology in line with manufacturer safety guidance.
It addresses the five key systems that influence pelvic control, coordination, relaxation, and function — going beyond a narrow focus on muscle activation alone.
Why a Whole-System Approach Matters
Many people think of pelvic health as simply “strengthening the pelvic floor.” While muscle function is important, pelvic health is shaped by multiple systems working together.
Bladder control, pelvic stability, comfort, and confidence are all influenced by how these systems interact. For some people, the pelvic floor is not weak — it is overactive, poorly coordinated, or unable to relax. Addressing only one aspect may not resolve symptoms that arise from tension, nervous system patterns, or coordination difficulties.
The Pelvic Zone Method was developed to provide a structured framework that helps practitioners assess and support pelvic function across all five systems — supporting a more complete rehabilitation approach over time.
The Five Systems
The Pelvic Zone Method evaluates pelvic function across five interconnected systems.

How the bladder signals, stores, and releases urine in response to fullness and urgency. Bladder habits, urgency patterns, and signalling responses can all influence pelvic symptoms.
The control, coordination, and appropriate relaxation of the pelvic floor muscles. These muscles support the bladder, bowel, and pelvic organs — and play a role in urinary control, stability, and overall pelvic function.
How pelvic tension patterns and discomfort can influence movement, comfort, and control. Pelvic muscles can become overactive or tense — affecting function and daily comfort in ways that go beyond simple weakness.
How hormonal changes influence pelvic tissue health, elasticity, and support. Relevant across life stages including postpartum recovery, perimenopause, and post-prostate changes.
How the nervous system coordinates pelvic control, awareness, and relaxation. Nervous system responses can influence urgency patterns, tension, and overall pelvic coordination — and are central to whole-system rehabilitation.
How the Method Works in Practice
The Pelvic Zone Method is delivered through a structured, practitioner-guided process designed to build understanding, function, and confidence over time.
Your first appointment. A calm, private clinical appointment with a Pelvic Health Practitioner to understand your concerns, explain the method, review safety, and answer your questions.
A six-session introduction that systematically addresses each of the five systems — Bladder Control, Pelvic Muscle Function, Pain & Tension, Hormonal & Tissue Support, and Nervous System Regulation.
After The Foundation Programme, continued sessions are guided by your Markers of Progress™ — not by a fixed schedule. Your practitioner adjusts the approach based on how your body responds.
Technology as a Supportive Tool
Pelvic Zone uses repetitive Peripheral Magnetic Stimulation (rPMS) technology as part of the rehabilitation process.
rPMS supports pelvic muscle activation and coordination — helping the body reconnect with muscles that may have become weakened, uncoordinated, or overly tense. Sessions are fully clothed, non-invasive, and comfortable.
The technology is a supportive tool within the method. Pelvic Zone is not a chair-only clinic. Each session is practitioner-guided — the specialist rehabilitation chair supports the physical component of a structured, whole-system rehabilitation programme. It is the practitioner-guided, whole-system approach that defines the Pelvic Zone Method — technology supports the broader rehabilitation process, not the other way around.
