What it costs
No hidden prices, no pressure, and no surprises. Here's exactly how it works.
Start with a free Discovery Session
Fifteen minutes on the chair, at no cost and with no obligation. You'll feel a real, powerful contraction — or we don't proceed. It's also where we work out what your pelvic floor actually needs.
You'll be with us for around thirty to forty-five minutes in total, depending on how many questions you have.
Some people would call this a free trial. We call it a Discovery Session, because you're not just having a go — you're finding out whether the chair is the right answer for you at all.
Free
Sessions and packs
We work in packs of six, to keep it manageable and to give us a natural point to stop and review. The more you continue, the lower the price per session.
Single session
Pay as you go
£60
First pack of 6
£300
£50 per session
Second pack of 6
£270
£45 per session
Third pack of 6 and after
£240
£40 per session
Packs are paid upfront. If you've had a single £60 session and then decide to start a pack, that session becomes your first — so you only pay the balance.
A regular session is twenty-eight minutes on the chair, so you're usually in and out in about half an hour. Fully clothed, no changing, and no waiting around.
And then you stop paying us
Eventually things stabilise and stop changing — and that's the goal. At that point we move you to maintenance: your own exercises at home, and a visit to the chair about once a month to keep things ticking over. Maintenance visits are £60 each, or you can take your next pack of six at whatever rate you've reached, which usually covers around six months.

Where it happens
Our studio is a private treatment room set up for exactly this — not a busy clinic, and no waiting room full of people. There's free parking right outside, and you'll come straight in.
A calm, private studio here in Chelmsford. Fully clothed, nothing invasive, and no rushing. Just a comfortable room, a cup of tea if you'd like one, and someone who'll take the time to explain what's going on.
How many sessions will I need?
The honest answer is that we don't know yet — and anyone who gives you a number before they've seen how your pelvic floor responds is guessing.
What we can tell you is the process. Every pelvic floor moves through four stages:
- Adaptation — the muscle starts to respond.
- Co-ordination — it begins firing properly, and in the right order.
- Activation — it works when you need it, not just when you’re sitting on the chair.
- Stabilisation — it holds. That’s where we’re heading.
Everyone moves through those four stages. Some get there quickly, others take longer, and that isn't something anyone can tell from the outside.
As a general guide, this is the spectrum of ranges we see:
Early support
Symptoms are relatively new or less established
8–12 sessions
Developing pattern
Symptoms are persistent and affecting daily confidence
18–24 sessions
Long-standing pattern
Symptoms have often been active for years
24–36 sessions
Chronic and complex
Long-standing symptoms, and may need referral
36+ sessions
In our experience, somewhere between twelve and eighteen sessions — two to three packs of six — is where things tend to settle for most people. But we review every six, and your body tells us where you are rather than a chart deciding for you.
When you reach stability, you'll know. You'll feel it.
Why six sessions won't do it
You'll see places promising results in a handful of sessions. We'd rather be straight with you.
This is a muscle, like any other muscle in your body. To grow, it needs a powerful contraction and disciplined repetition — that's how every muscle works. You can't build strength by going to the gym once a week. Three times is better than once, five is better than three.
The chair speeds this up considerably, because it produces a powerful series of contractions you couldn't achieve on your own. But it doesn't remove the need for repetition over a reasonable period. Nothing does.
That's why we work in packs of six, and why most people need more than one.
“If there is one thing I really appreciate it's honesty, and speaking to people that know what you have been through. Frank has this nailed down.”
How often should you come?
Most people start with two sessions a week — enough repetition to make progress, with room to recover.
- Once a week — works, but takes longer
- Twice a week — where most people start
- Three times a week — faster, though not right for everyone
We always leave at least a day between sessions — muscles need recovery to grow, exactly as they would in the gym. And if progress is slower than we'd like, we might suggest stepping up for a week or two, then settling back.
We review every six sessions
At the end of each pack we stop and look at what's actually changed. Are things shifting? Has your pelvic floor moved through adaptation, co-ordination, activation, and on towards stabilisation? If it has, we celebrate and carry on. If it hasn't, we'll tell you honestly rather than sell you another pack.
Nothing here is a commitment. Start with the free Discovery Session, feel the contraction, and we'll talk honestly about what — if anything — you need.
